Festival Suisse - Swiss Festival

Next Friday and Saturday, Sutton will celebrate the Swiss National Day. Word has it that it is the largest celebration outside of Switzerland. Sutton will be covered in red and white.

Mont Tricot will be celebrating as well:

• Knit/crochet a slice of  Swiss cheese or a brick of swiss cheese and get one skein of yarn at 20% off (knit piece does not have to look like the image - just use your imagination)
• All red and white items will be on sale -15%
• More yarns will be marked down to make room for fall yarns arriving soon
• Friday evening, Mont Tricot will be open late to coincide with all of the festivities

 Vendredi et Samedi prochain, Sutton va fêter la fête nationale de Suisse. Apparement, c'est la plus grande festival en dehors de la Suisse. Alors, Sutton va être couvert en rouge et blanc.

Swiss National Day Celebration : 27 & 28 July 2012

Friday, get ready for a great afternoon and evening with the sidewalk sale, exposition of Swiss artists at Farfelu from 11:00am to 9:00pm, also a mini fair in part of the parking lot beside the post office with local products for sale.  There will also be musicians playing from 3:00pm to 9:00pm.
There are also Tombola tickets on sale at the Information Office at 24A, Principale South. First prize is 2 tickets Montreal-Zurich.
Saturday, for the 36th year the Swiss Community will gather at Mont SUTTON to celebrate the Swiss national holiday. Open to all for a small entry fee, the day long celebration features Swiss music, folkloric events, foods and sports such as rifle shooting. Enjoy hiking the mountain and dancing in the evening.

Fête nationale de la Suisse : 27 - 28 juillet 2012
